The Vixen Astronomical BT81S-A Binoculars provide a spectacular view of comets, star clusters, and other astronomical targets. The 45° eyepiece angle provides a very comfortable view when using these binoculars for either astronomy or long distance terrestrial viewing. The mechanics have been redesigned compared with the older model, making them 100mm shorter in length, 40mm lower in height, and 2 lbs lighter, providing a very compact body for the aperture.
The 81mm objective lens is coated with a magnesium-fluorite anti-reflective coating to boost the brightest of the image. The focuser end accepts standard 1.25" astronomical eyepieces (sold separately). It is recommended not to use eyepieces with shorter focal length (higher magnification) than 10mm with the BT81S-A. Weighs 9lbs 1oz. Designed and Manufactured in Japan.
