This tripod has a sleek and simple look and folds out quickly, but the bottom portions of the legs seem a little unstable. The head that comes on the tripod scans side to side smoothly. It can be a bit tricky trying to going from looking down at the ducks in the pond to looking up in the trees at a raptor. I had to take off my scope and spin it around to make this transition. The movement in the head is limited.

Comments about Zhumell Professional Tripod:
I could have spent more money on something else, but why? I was pleasantly surprised to see the entire pod is constructed of metal, except for the couple of handles. I love the fact that the shoe locks into the head for added security. The weight is ideal for being steady in the situations i will find myself mostly. The padded leg is a fine and subtle addition, especially while shooting in less than warm conditions. The tilting of the head is very fluid and the leveling tilt is nice too. The only thing I noticed that had a little drag was the panning movement. That drag is minimal, but it stands out because the other movements are so smooth. I don't have any heavy lenses for my DSLR, so I don't have any feed back concerning this. For me the purchase was spot on. Arrived exactly when estimated. Thank you.

Comments about Zhumell Professional Tripod:
A solid tripod, with sufficient height for comfortable use with large binoculars. Fit and finish are average, may seem a bit heavy to some, but functionality is excellent - particularly at this price point.

Q1: I recently purchased a Fuji Finepix E-550 digital camera. I would like to know if the Zhumell Professional Tripod and my camera will mount together?
A: As long as your camera (female 1/4" 20 thread)is designed to fit on a standard photographic tripod, it will not be a problem at all.
Q2: Will the Zhumell 20 by 80 binoculars mount directly to the Zhumell tripod or is an adapter required?
A: The Zhumell 20x80 Astronomical binoculars have a built in tripod adapter, and will mount directly to this tripod.
Q3: The Zhumell Professional Tripod says only "50-60 in. Extended Height." Is that the only range? If not, what is the minimum height it can be used? Also, does the head just swivel, or also tilt?
A: Minimum working height is 25 inches. The head tilts as well as pans.
Q4: The features for this tripod refer to camera mounting. Is it strong enough and heavy enough to carry my Zhumell 20-60X80 spotting scope?
A: The Zhumell Professional Tripod will work just fine with the Zhumell 20-60x80mm spotting scope. It's a good combination.
Q5: What is the maximum distance the feet can be spread apart. I would like to use the tripod for laser alignment and need to span a hole that has a 32 " diameter. Keeping the working height as low as possible with the feet spread to this distance would be id
A: Leg span of the Zhumell Professional Tripod is 37 inches, so it will span a 32-inch hole with plenty of room to spare.
