Comments about Nikon Slik Tripod:
I bought this tripod for my 25-75 power spotting scope. It is extremely unsteady. The slightest breeze makes the image quiver even at the 25 power setting. Even the lightest touch sets it in motion, say if your eyebrow touches the eye piece. I have not tried this for a very light camera with no zoom so maybe it would work for that. But that is not my interest.

Q1: Will this tripod work with a Barska 30x90x90 spotting scope? What is the max weight limit for this scope?
A: That tripod would not work with the spotting scope you have. The maximum weight on a compact tripod is 2.25 lbs and the spotting scope you have is 3lbs. Any full-size tripod would have the correct mount for your scope and would be able to handle heavier weights.
