I am 6'2" and have had my spine fused in two spots. Bending down is all but impossible now and I had given up on being able to observe the night sky. With the extension capability of this tripod I not only can stand and observe but am able to get to those overhead sights that were impossible to adjust to with a standard tripod. Sturdy, easy to adjust, quick mount and dismount of different optics, and swivel, this equipment has been a life saver. Could not recommend more

This is a good solid mount,But it lost 2 points. The first point was lost due to the quick release plate that comes with the tripod has to much play...this can be fixed by getting the heavy duty quick release plate its about $14.00usd.
The second point was lost due to raising the center part of the tripod, you have to ajust it by hand(twist and lift)if you have 25X100 binoculars it can be heavy.Should have used a handle to ajust it up or down.
But it is still a good mount for my Zhumell 25X100 Binoculars.

Comments about Zhumell Astronomical Binoculars Tripod:
When I bought the Zhumell Binoculars I thought my camera tripod would be sufficient but after one use I quickly realized I needed something a lot more sturdy. The binoculars weigh 11 pounds and the view on the camera tripod was quite shaky. It's hard to tell from the photo, but this tripod is much more hefty than a regular camera tripod & will provide much steadier viewing. I am quite happy that I spent the money to have much a better viewing experience, and I am much more encouraged to use the binoculars more often. And it comes with a handy carrying bag.

Comments about Zhumell Astronomical Binoculars Tripod:
This is a good tripod but it is way over priced. If you shop around you can find one for around $70.00 of the same.

Comments about Zhumell Astronomical Binoculars Tripod:
The tripod is well built and stable, excellent for binocular, telescope viewing (with proper mounts), even for tall people.
This tripod is not for long range backpacking as it is several pounds in weight (which adds to its stability).

Comments about Zhumell Astronomical Binoculars Tripod:
Very solid, good height, easy to transport and easy to set up. The Zhumell Astro binoculars I have are about 10 lbs and require a sturdy/solid tripod. This tripod fits all the requirements.
The tools (allen wrench and flat wrench) that come with this quality tripod are not up to the standards of the tripod itself... Mostly useless.
