Tasco's Novice 402x60 refracting telescope is a great way for budding astronomers to start exploring the sky. In fact, the Novice is our best telescope for those who want to go deep into space without going deep into their pocketbook.

Tasco claims magnification of 402X, depending on eyepiece. Even with a 4mm eyepiece, magnification would be 175X from the 60mm objective lens.
