Comments about Zhumell Alexander Brass Zoom Telescope:
This brass zoom telescope arrived less than two days after I ordered it (total extra shipping cost of three dollars!) well packaged and almost fully assembled. It took only a few minutes to unpack this well and carefully packed instrument and then assemble it. The 20 - 60 X zoom makes it perfect for finding objects on the water out front and then zoom in on birds or seals over a mile away or a lighthouse 5 km away. Perfect for a waterfront home! Exceeded my expectations.

Comments about Zhumell Alexander Brass Zoom Telescope:
From my mid-town Manhattan high rise apartment I have incredible city views including the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the new Freedom Tower, and the Hudson river.
This scope was made to order as the zoom feature just makes the cityscape pop. I'm afraid that with NYC's light pollution, the only thing visable in the night sky is the moon, but if you live far away from city lights you will likely do better.
I ordered it late Monday, it shipped Tuesday and arrived Thursday in a factory sealed box. It took me about an hour to unpack it and put it together.
If your looking for a terrestrial scope for day or night viewing that can also be used for limited stargazing, you can't go wrong with the Alexander. I would advise however that the tripod legs require great care when you adjust them.
Oh yeah, it's also a great looking piece of furniture.

We built our retirement home across the street from Lake Huron. We can now see the lake freighters up close and personal. Exactly what we were looking for and a beautiful piece of furniture.

I Liked the telescope. It looks good and works well for stargazing. What I did not like was the tripod legs made of wood. They were a bit wobbley and did not stay locked in place very well.
