Q1: how crisp would this be in a tasco 500x4.5 reflector eq, and what can it see(can it see galaxys)how far does it see in a 1000mm telescope.would you recomend it ,if not tell of another eyepeice i could get.
A: The Celestron Omni 4mm eyepiece would be a good match for the Tasco 500x4.5 Reflector. It will magnify everything that your scope brings in 250 times, which is just about the maximum magnification the scope can handle. Eyepieces can't magnify what the scope can't bring in, though. A 4.5-inch reflector can reach out to Magnitude 12 or a little better. That brings in the light from roughly 5 million stars. The 4.5-inch scope will reveal structure in the Andromeda Galaxy and give views of several other galaxies.
