Customer Q & A

Q1: I HAVE A BUSHNELL TELESCOPE MODEL 78 9003 76mmOBJECTIVE LENS (1/9 2)700mm FOCOL LENGTH ( NEW) BUT HAVE LOST THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SET IT UP eg-HOW TO FOCUS etc COULD YOU HELP PLEASE

A: Unfortunately, we don't stock spare manuals for Bushnell scopes. You should, however, be able to obtain a manual or other help directly from Bushnell. Here's the toll-free number so you can make the necessary arrangements: (800) 423-3537.

Q2: I am looking at the Bushnell Sky Tour 76mm Reflector Telescope. I am mainly interested in a telescope for astronomy purposes, such as planets. Will this telescope allow me to see things such as the rings and moons of Saturn, Jupiter, or Mars?? Thanks,

A: The Bushnell Sky Tour 76mm Reflector will give you nice views of the Moon. You'll see Jupiter's cloud belts and Great Red Spot. You'll see Saturn as a bright lozenge shape, but you'll not be able to separate the rings from the planetary disk. You will, however, be able to see Saturn's largest moon, Titan.

Q3: How do you determine the longitude and latitude of where you live?

A: One good way of determining your location's coordinates is to use one of our GPS units. It will tell you precisely where you are, within a few feet on the surface of the Earth. The Garmin e-Trex GPS is a good basic unit that will serve you well. Here's the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://binoculars.com/products/garmin-e-trex-gps-19519.html.
