Q1: Will a 40mm plossl fit into it??
A: i am sorry please disregard the last email, I didf ot realize that it was a T-adapter you were looking at. The T-adapter will not be used in conjunction with an eyepiece. If you want to go that route you will want the Variable Projection Camera adapter.
Q2: I was looking at your telescope T-ring adapters for Canon Cameras. Does an adapter exist for the Canon Power Shot A40 Digital or the Canon Mini DV ZR 100 Digital Video Camcorder?
The telescope I have is the basic Telestar 60AZ-A by Meade.
If not, what would you recommend? Im just looking for a way to take inexpensive pictures of the night sky.
Thanks,
Chris
A: Zhumell's Universal Digital Camera Adapter (small) will mate your Powershot A40 to your telescope. Here's the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/Zhumell_Universal_Digital_Camera_Adapter_-_Small_36562.html.
Q3: With this T-Adapter and T-Ring - Canon EOS can i attach Canon EOS 350d to Meade ETX105 telescope?
A: Yes, the Zhumell Universal T-Adapter and T-ring Canon EOS will work just fine.
Q4: Do you make an mount ( adaptor) for a Minolta X-700?
A: Yes. Zhumell makes a T-ring to fit the Minolta. It works with the Universal T-Adapter to make the connection with your scope. Here's the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-t-ring-minolta-30835.html.
Q5: Based on demisions listed for this product will it also allow attachment to a microscope?
A: It probably wouldn't work. You'd have to remove the eyepiece from the microscope and put the T-adapter in its place, disrupting the optics of the microscope. The Zhumell Universal Camera Adapter (small) should mate a camera to a microscope just fine, however. Here's the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-universal-digiscoping-adapter-small-36562.html.
Q6: are the male threads on the Zhumell universal T adapter standard 37mm.
A: Thread diameter is standard 42mm.
Q7: Will this item work with an Olympus Evolt e-500?
A: Yes, it will work just fine with the EVOLT. Nice camera, by the way.
Q8: Will the work with my canon digital eos rebel xt??
A: Yes, the Zhumell 1.25-inch Universal T-Adapter will work with a Canon EOS camera. However, you will also need a T-ring to fit the camera. Here's the URL; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/celestron-t-ring-canon-eos-6046.html.
Q9: I have a Kodak DX 6340 I also adapter ring so that I can adapt lenses to this camera. Which is 32mm to 37mm,will i be able to us it with the universal adapter
thank you
A: The Zhumell Universal T-Adapter has 42mm threads designed to fit a standard T-Ring, so there would not be a fit between the adapter ring and the T-Adapter.
Q10: The Zhumell Universal T-Adapter (sku:1.25-UNI-TADAPT) works by placing an eyepiece in the adapter correct? I can place different power eyepieces within the universal t-adapter? The only need for the variable adapter is to use only one eyepiece and adjus
A: The Zhumell Universal T-adapter takes the place of an eyepiece and mates with a camera via a T-ring to accomplish prime-focus photography. That arrangement usually gives about the same magnification level as a 5mm eyepiece. If you wish to use eyepieces so you can vary magnification levels, you'll need the Zhumell Universal Projection Adapter (1.25-inch), plus a T-Ring for your Camera. Here's the URL for the Universal Projection Adapter; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://telescopes.com/products/zhumell-universal-projection-adapter-1-25-inch-camera-adapter-32671.html.
Q11: The Moon, trees, and other objects looked much clearer in the camera viewfinder than they did in the pictures. Am I not getting the correct focus by using the viewfinder? Or am I doing something else wrong?
A: Because we don't know what equipment you're using the The Zhumell Universal T-Adapter with, we can't supply a definitive answer. The T-Adapter, of course, is meant to connect digital and film SLR cameras to a telescope's focuser. Focus can be achieved by varying the depth to which the adapter is inserted into the telescope's focuser. You might experiment with different depths to see which one works best on your equipment, then mark the barrel for future reference.
Q12: Is it possible to use this product with a Canon DSLR plus T mount and a Pentax Spotting Scope as a prime lens? I have heard the image will be upside down due to the different prism design in a spotter. Forgive my ignorance. Is that true? You sell a similar
A: Though we've not tried the combination, we're reasonably certain the Zhumell Universal T-Adapter would not work with the Pentax scope. The T-Adapter is configured to slip into a celestial telescope's 1.25-inch focuser. You'll want the adapter that uses the scope's eyepiece.
