Q1: The description mentions the telescope is rubber-coated. Can you please tell me the extent to which the scope is rubber-coated? Also, are there any plastic components or parts (such as the rear cell, focuser, finderscope bracket, or any other pieces)? Thank you.

A: The back of the body where the primary mirror is located of the C-130mm Spotting scope from Celestron is rubber armored to protect it. The bracket that holds the finderscope is plastic as well as the focus knobs andbase where the tripod connects. They do this to help lessen the weight of the scope so that it is much more portable.

Q2: What is the focuser size?

A: approximately 1" in diameter

Q3: With the C130mm Mak spotting scope how does the focusing work both with a camera and with the regular eyepieces.?

A: There is a focus knob at the top of the scope that yu adjust to focus with the eyepieces, depending on how you have the camera set-up the focus will be done with the camera itself.

Q4: I currently own the CG-5 mount, this OTA fits in the mount adaptor? Or only works with photo tripods? Thank you!

A: The C-130 Mak Spotting Scope will fit right on the CG-5 mount. No adapter necessary.

Q5: Hi there, Would the Celestron C130mm Mak Spotting Scope attach to a Konica Minolta Dimage A200 digital camera with the necessary attachments.? Thank you.

A: Yes, the Celestron C130 Mak will work just fine with the Miinolta Dimage A200. To make the connection, you'll need a device like the Zhumell Universal Digital Camera Adapter and A T-ring to fit the camera body. Here's the URL for the Camera Adapter; just paste it into your browser's address window: http://binoculars.com/products/zhumell-universal-t-adapter-1-25-inch-camera-adapter-30842.html. And here's the URL for the T-ring to fit the Minolta camera: http://binoculars.com/products/zhumell-t-ring-minolta-30835.html.
