It's a little bit longer than what I expected, but it's definitely what I was looking for in capability,construction and magnification. Without a doubt it will satisfy all my target shooting, spotting and astronomy needs. I'm glad I choose this particular scope.

I use this scope on a Rifle range. It works just fine. I like the Zoom Lens real well.

never used a spotting scope before this one but very impressed. does the trick perfectly for sighting in on targets and not having to walk back and forth. can zoom up from very far away and still have quite good clearity

We live on a pond where loons nest on an island we built 10 years ago. That was when I got my first Sportview telescope to set up on the deck for a really intimate view of the whole nesting and loon family process. This is the second scope for us as it gets daily use all summer and one is not enough! Get one!
