I studies scopes for 3 months. I selected the 3.5x10x50 LRS Burris Illuminated because I wanted the best engineered scope for my new 300 Win Mag Weatherby Vanguard Sporter. I just got the scope mounted and bored havn't shot yet but the scope brings them in and I'm sure I will like it once in the field thus the 4 rating since havn't used in field yet. I really like the springs and the engineering in the Burris scope and the Balistic Plex was interesting to me also as was the illumination dimmer. I also made sure I bought coordinated Burris steel base and mounting rings for overall use and strength of hunting. I spent a lot more but I find I'm happier with the BEST!!!!

[$] lot of money for 3.5x10x50 LRS so we'll see. Wanted the best scope for my new Weatherby 300 Win Mag Sporter having scope mounted today. Great brouchere and presentation's of products may be better than actual so will see but the RED Balistic Plex is slight plus have seen different variations of actual look. Think this scope will be fine however reserving judgement until use it in the field. I researched Scopes for 2 months and selected the Burris LRS.RogerSt. Louis, Mo
