A: Clarity is excellent. Field of view is 8 degrees, or about 140 feet at 1,000 yards.
Q2: Is it possible to target a commercial plane flying at about 1500 meters distance ( near an airport ) ? Thanks , JPL
A: Yes, it should be possible to range on an airplane at 1,500 meters. The LRF Monocular ranges to 2,000 yards, which is roughly 1,830 meters.
Q3: I am looking for a good rangefinder that will range deer and elk size targets out to 1300 yards reliably. Will these suit my needs and do they need mounted on a tripod???
A: Yes, the Newcon 7x25 LRF Monocular - 2000 Yards w/ Speed Detector & Compass will range on deer- and elk-size targets reliably out to 1,300 yards. It does not need to be mounted on a tripod.

A: Unfortunately, no, the 7x25 LRF Monocular - 2000 Yards - Speed Detector - Compass cannot interface with a computer.
