Increase your accuracy, and even measure the spread on game, with the Leupold RX-IV 8x 28mm Laser Rangefinder With True Ballistic Range Boone and Crockett Edition. Get the True Ballistic Range to your target, and even determine if the rack is the size you're hunting for.

Accurate range in the field can mean the difference between a hit or a miss. The RX-IV is accurate to 1,500 yards and does more than deliver the straight-line distance; the True Ballistic Range feature is accurate to 800 yards and provides accurate aiming information matched to the performance of your rifle or bow. The RX-IV uses a built-in inclinometer to calculate the ballistics range to your target, and then displays it as a holdover aim point, an MOA adjustment, or the equivalent horizontal distance. No other rangefinder does so much to help you make the shot of a lifetime.

The RX-IV is packed with multiple customizable features and functions. The Match 13 Reticle System is one of the most customizable features of your RX-IV rangefinder. With it, you will always have fast access to each of the 13 reticles, so you always have the right reticle for any situation. Each reticle is available with the Leupold Plus Point for an added level of accuracy in pinpointing a target.

You can also use multiple modes at once to tailor your readings to the conditions. Only RX-IV rangefinders enable you to adapt to changing conditions like this. Leupold's exclusive Quick Set Rotary Menu is intuitive and easy to use, giving you fast access to all the incredible performance modes of your RX-IV rangefinder. This menu also includes a quick-start mode.

The RX-IV Boone and Crockett Edition features the Boone and Crockett Big Game reticle, Plus Point, and crosshair. The revolutionary Trophy Scale technology will tell you if the rack on the game you're viewing has the spread (in inches) for which you are hunting.

But there is more. The RX-IV rangefinder's 8x magnification gives you plenty of power with a wide field of view to track movement. The scan mode continuously updates the range as you track a target or scan an area. A precision thermometer gives you digital readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and measurements are available in feet, yards, or meters.

The RX-IV has a battery power indicator for easy battery-level checks, and it uses a common CR2 lithium camera battery (included), which is easy to change in the field. Several accessories are also included with the RX-IV: The useful carrying case features a bungee/hook closure for silent operation in the field. An internal pocket is useful for carrying batteries, instructions, and other items. A dog clip attaches to your pack. Finally, the RX-IV includes a lanyard and tripod thread for steady mounting and accurate target shots.

From humble immigrant beginnings, Leupold grew, based on a promise of quality, to become a classic American company. In 1907, Fred Leupold set up a one-man shop at 5th and Oak streets in Portland, Ore., to repair surveying equipment. He was joined by his brother-in-law, Adam Voelpel, and later by inventor John Cyprian Stevens, and the foundations for a century of success were in place.

During Leupold's second half-century, the company has focused heavily on the sports optics business. Leupold's presence in the hunting and shooting market expands, and finally dominates, with innovative optics and features that are now legendary among hunters, shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts. Many of the industry's standards - nitrogen waterproofing, the Duplex reticle, and more - are Leupold creations.
