I purchased this to watch my daughters sporting events. A 7 or 8 power binocular is to much and I thought the 3 power would be great. It works fine but the field of view is a bit too small. They work better than the binoculars because they are much lighter and easier to carry.

Needs focus wheel unless one has 20:20 vision, & both eye acuities are equal.
Can be used with glasses, but no rubber cover of optical to prevent scrathing glasses.

The creaftsmanship is wonderful, especially at the low price. The magnification (3X) is ideal for concerts, plays, movies, sports events, etc. Though not adjustable for focus, the field seems very clear. There is a small red light attached for those times you'd like to read a playbill without causing a distraction to others.

Love the red light that you can use to read your programs once the lights go out during the play. Great for concerts too! Great gift idea.
