Description

Yukon NVMT 4x50 Night Vision Monoculars
The NVMT 4x50 provides the highest magnification and impressive light gathering capabilities of all the NVMT line, making it even more versatile.
Formerly demanding night vision equipment has been simplified and turned into major exploration gear with the water resistant, rubberized NVMT 4x50. Embark on a night hike, finish climbing a mountainside at 3 a.m., or reach your destination no matter the timethe NVMT night vision monocular amplifies visible light several thousand times through a high-grade generation 1 image intensifier tube, while the exclusive built-in PULSE** infrared illuminator expands viewing range, allows the unit to be used in low to no light conditions, and minimizes battery drainage, in addition to staying invisible to the human eye.
The NVMT 4x50 has the highest magnification of all the NVMT units with a 600 m maximum range of detection. This unit was designed specifically for night vision photography, game spotting and surveillance. For hands-free viewing, attach the unit to the NVMT head gear. For hunting, transform the NVMT 4x50 into a riflescope with the NVMT rifle conversion kit. The built-in 1/4" tripod socket allows the unit to be affixed to a tripod for stable viewing, interchangeable lenses24mm, 42mm, 50mmpermit a variety of viewing ranges, and camera adapters allow the user to photograph night vision observations. With so many features, the NVMT 4x50 is the ultimate in multi-tasking night vision units and serves all your night vision needs.
** The PULSE system utilizes quick infrared energy bursts that pierce the darkness further to increase distance, visibility and image quality. The PULSE IR System provides the highest level of infrared illumination without significant battery drainage. The same "pulsing" frequency that is invisible to human eyes infiltrates longer distances due to the Infrared Illuminator's quick energy bursts.

Comments about Yukon NVMT 4x50 Multi-Tasking Night Vision Monocular:

As a former Army recon scout during Vietnam I can say the Yukon 4x50 beats the ones we used hands down! Much sharper and clearer image! Smaller and lighter and far less expensive!
With this unit and the built in IR illuminator in pitch black conditions, I can read license plates at 40 yards perfectly. I added the optional IR illuminator that attaches to the bottom tripod mounts and when the honeycomb diffuser is removed it extends the range to at least 100 yards and is much brighter than the built in light. The optional illuminator is also adjustable from flood to spot which is nice. I have no problem useing the 4X lens...it focuses from about 5 feet to infinity.
Well worth the money...especially since the warranty on the Intensiver Tube is 3 years...longer than most other brands...and all other parts have a lifetime warranty!
A great advantage also is, it will convert into a riflescope easily if you purchase that option and the less powerful lens (yes...the lenses are interchangeable)!

works great for the purposes needed. the IR beam does show when on, but because it is a dark red coloration, it isnt noticed very well by onlookers.

Comments about Yukon NVMT 4x50 Multi-Tasking Night Vision Monocular:

This is a pretty decent product. First off let me warn you about the 4x lens. This lens reduces the available light and makes it difficult to focus in on objects. Second, you have to focus the eye piece and the objective lens to clearly see things. You will be constantly playing with the focus while using this product; this takes some getting used to. One of the benefits of this product is that the 4x lens can be removed and replaced with a 1x, 2x or 3x lens. I bought a 1x lens and love it. Next, without the IR light, it is hard to make out objects. Plan on buying an IR spotlight if you want to see further than 60 yards. The one that is attached is O.K. for close range. Overall for 200 bucks you can’t really beat it. Does not work well with eye glasses.

            Customer Q & A

Q1: Were do I get the rifle mount and dose it have a reticle for sighting in.

A: The Yukon Rifle Conversion Kit would be used to adapt the NVMT monocular to your rifle. It includes a laser sight; there is no reticle in the scope.

Q2: Will I be able to identify an object 300 feet away in the dark?

A: This Yukon you are interested in has a Detection Range up to 270 Yards (810ft) in optimal conditions.

Q3: Can I use the Yukon NVMT 4x50 from inside the house during the night time (when the glass windows are closed ) ?

A: No. The glass will reflect the infrared technology that creates the illumination. You would be unable to see out of windows using night vision.
