          A: With its built-in Infrared Illuminator, yes, the Night Watch 2x24 w/Built-In IR will let you see in complete darkness.

          Q2: Will an IR monocular allow me to see heat loss from the outside of my home?

          A: The Bushnell Night Watch 2x24 Night Vision Monocular is a night-vision device only. It has a built-IR unit for illumination purposes, but not for heat sensing.

          Q3: Is this model waterproof?

          A: No, this model is not waterproof. 

          Q4: How far can you see at night?  What is the range?

          A: The Bushnell Night Watch 2x24 Night Vision Monocular can see 20ft clearly in complete darkness.

          Q5: Do you charge it?

          A: No, there are batteries in the unit you'll replace as they wear out. You can purchase rechargeable batteries though, if you wish.
