The ATN Night Shadow HPT is a Night Vision Bi-ocular with built in exclusive ATN Smart Technology. These night vision bi-oculars have a Proximity Sensor that automatically turns the night vision binoculars on when it is brought in the viewing position. The Night Shadow HPT features all of the benefits of HPT technology, such as 51-64lp/mm resolution, automatic brightness and gain control, bright light protection, along with a powerful IR illuminator. Specialized multicoated optics provide extreme clarity in low-light situations. With 5X magnification and designed for long ranges it is an excellent choice for law enforcement or eilitary uses.

System Description

The Night Shadow comes standard with our cutting edge "Smart" technology .This technology consists of a computerized proximity sensor, digital controls and a long-range infrared illuminator. The proximity sensor will automatically turn the unit on and off when it is brought to the viewing position. This helps save your battery life and the life of the unit itself. The digital controls allow you to activate all of the features of the Night Shadow with an easy push of a button. We also built a powerful infrared illuminator into the scope. This allows you to see even in total darkness with outstanding clarity.

It is dark. You can barely see your hand in front of your face. You bring your Night Shadow night vision device up to your eyes and turn it on. Suddenly, in green-hued clarity, the entire scene is like day.

For camping, boating, nature study, or law enforcement, there is simply no better Bi-ocular night vision device on the market.

  • Export of GEN-3 night vision equipment from the United States without a valid export permit issued by the U.S. Department of State, Office of Defense Trade Controls is strictly prohibited and is a federal crime.

  • The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) supersedes any Commerce Department jurisdiction that may exist, so Gen II is in the same export category as Gen III - it requires a license to export. There is a Canadian exemption that allows Gen II or below to be exported to Canada without a license, but since an image tube is a US Munitions List (USML) Category XII(c) item, it always requires an end use statement, even if it is shipped to Canada.

    It is the Buyer's responsibility to request and obtain export licenses for the export of the subject items, and to ensure that the requirements of all applicable laws, regulations and administrative policies are met.

  • Generation 4, autogated/filmless technology is absolutely not available for export.

    Other Restrictions: Restrictions on the use of night vision with a weapon vary from state to state. You are strongly advised to learn these laws and adhere to them.
