Nice scope. Was wanting more power like the Echo 10-30x21 Zoom.. but after reading review of it's fragile construction I opted for this fixed power pocket scope. This one is built strong, small, and has bright clear optics. I wear glasses and have no problems seeing through this little monocular with it's 12mm of eye relief. Great for Golf . I can now see my ball on the green from far away. Good for people watching.. you can see their faces when they don't see you . Good also for watching my Crew at work at long range. I run equipment at work and still do alot of hard labor work both with hand and power tools.. wish the pouch was made of stronger, better materials.

I carry this product in the glove box of my van and use it to get a better view of street names or address numbers from a distance. The image is bright and magnification adequate. However the sample I have has rough focus. It is very difficult to a make minor change in focus without jumping to an undesired focus condition due to stickiness of mechanics.

Comments about Brunton Echo 7x18 Pocket Scope Monocular:
I had to literally cut the hard plastic display card apart to get the monocular out. Sending it in a box would be much better. No directions on how to attach the hand strap. It just felt more like a toy than a professional visual aid. I'll be surprised if it lasts a year.
