To give an accurate idea of the size - I use an empty film canister as a case and the fit is just right. I carried it around in my pocket with no case for a while and it now has some dust build-up inside 8( my mistake though.

The bad: I'm not sure what the field of view is but it seems pretty small (the objective lens is tiny so this is needed to keep the image bright enough, even so it is noticeably dim in falling light conditions). The narrow field of view makes it hard to find what you're looking for if the background is uniform (trees or sky). The fact that it is so light and short make it hard to hold steady with one hand. All these cons are impossible to avoid with a scope this small so I still give it five stars.

The good: It is super tiny, as described above. The optics are great - this is definitely no toy. Images are very crisp. Solid, metal construction - has been dropped a couple times with no ill effects. Easy to focus but needs two hands. Great to show off to friends. Despite giving it five stars and the fact I would buy another if I lost or broke it, I am still looking at buying a *slightly* larger monocular that is brighter, has a wider field of view, is one-hand focusable, and water/dust/fog-proof. This monocular is too small for regular/frequent duty, but is great to tuck into a pocket for occasional use.
