Comments about Alpen 8x25 Waterproof Monocular:
I did a lot of shopping online and read a lot of reviews. Although a liked the idea of getting a Vortex, the 36 mm monoculars are too big, and with the 25 mm models you sacrifice the eye-relief. This Alpen model combines good eye-relief (18) with a compact size. The optics are also first class. I´m truly impressed with the clarity of the image, even in poor light.
