Comments about Vixen 8x20 Monocular:

Having 10x binoculars, I thought this was easy enough to hold by one hand.

However, It was more difficult to hold steady than 12x binoculars. If you have a clip on a tri-pod, this one will serve you very well. I would recommend the 4x monocular for casual use.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
