The Meade 900x Microscope Kit is a complete starter set with everything you need and much more. That's edu-tainment! Both children and adults can enjoy grand discoveries within the 28-piece accessory set. You'll find slides, samples and tools for all kinds of exploring.


The Meade 900x Microscope offers magnification options of 100x, 400x and 900x, with a rotating color filter wheel that brings out the best of your samples. Viewing angle is adjustable for personal preference. Use the built-in electric light or the attached mirror for natural illumination. The slide stage has clips to keep your specimen secure. The microscope, tools and accessories all fit neatly in the handy carrying case. Requires 2 AA batteries (not included)

      I was not going to buy this but the price was very attractive. When it came in the mail I was surprised at the amount of stuff that came with this. Everything works great no cons. I have looked at a few things and it is pretty neat. Like I said the microscope is plastic but looks like it will last. I already dropped it once and it still works. Excellent product would consider giving this as a gift to a kid who is interested in science.
