The Abbe condenser and Iris diaphragm let you control and concentrate the light. The mechanical stage has knobs to control both axes for easy centering of your specimen slides. All metal construction will stay strong and stable.
Practice and explore using the five included prepared slides, magnifying them up to 500x. Coated glass optics, three objective lenses and six levels of magnification guarantee exciting discoveries right out of the box.

I'm going to use the microscope for my daughters' homeschool science curriculum. I see this microscope being useful through college as well. We were very excited to get the microscope and start looking at the prepared slides that were included. Very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this microscope.
