Comments about Carson Optical Carson CP-11 Optical X-Scope:
JUNK! Would be overvalued at 20% of price. Clock not accurate. LED does not function making both flashlight and microscope useless. Whistle is toy. Compass badly calibrated. My advice is spend a few extra bucks and introduce child to basic quality equipment instead of discouraging them with gift which doesn't work!

Comments about Carson Optical Carson CP-11 Optical X-Scope:
I gave this to a 10 year old for the holidays, and he just carries it around everywhere. He said he is bringing it into "sharing" in class...It is a very fun educational toy. (don't always see those two words together.
