Q1: Please confirm if this sight will fit the SIG P-239 in 9mm chambering. It may only fit the P239 in .357 or .40cal

A: SiG Sauer P229 is available in 9mm, .357 and .40 caliber. The LMS-2291 fits all versions of the P229, but it is essential that the correct recoil spring be used. LaserMax provides two springs for this purpose. Use the braided spring for 9mm. Use the music wire spring for .357 and .40 caliber.

Q2: I have talked to a couple of stores about the 9mm version of this laser sight for the sig P-239 and they have said that they only have it for the .357 and .40cal. If you do have it for the 9mm, Can I get the braided spring from your store also.

A: I am sorry but we are unable to get this in the 9mm.

Q3: How is the laser adjusted on a Sig P239 .40 to point of impact? In other words how do you adjust the laser sight so that the bullet hits where the laser is spotting on the target? Is the laser adjustible for different yardage?

A: the Advantage with the LaserMax laser sights is that they do not need to be aligned or adjusted for distance however (I took this right from the lasermax site) "If any firearm has been ported, fluted or compensated either by the original manufacturer or by a gunsmith, LaserMax, Inc. will NOT guarantee alignment". So unless you have done any of those things the laser site will be automatically aligned with the gun.

Q4: Does the laser sight you show fit the p239 9mm. I cannot seem to find any accessories for my gun.

A: Unfortunately, the LaserMax Laser Sight for SiG P239 - .357, .40 caliber does not fit the 9mm P239. LaserMax does not make a laser sight for that weapon.
