Dawn. Dusk. In the shadows or even in nearly total darkness & you'll see what others miss with Steiner Nighthunter XP - binoculars that deliver unparalleled low-light performance.
The new Steiner Nighthunter XP Binoculars now feature water repelling, NANO-Protection lenses on the outer objective and ocular lenses to prevent adhesion of water and moisture to the lens surface, greatly reducing fogging so water and snow just slide off of the objective and ocular lenses. Waterproof and submersible, these rugged binoculars are purged and uniquely over-pressurized with Nitrogen to 7 psi.
The Steiner Nighthunter XP Binoculars incorporate the exclusive Steiner Sports Auto-Focus system. Once set for the user's eyes, the binocular keeps all objects in focus at distances from approximately 20 yards to infinity. Because of the greater depth of field in the Steiner Porro-prism design, the focus feature allows the observer to pre-focus at a selected distance in twilight and know that the binoculars will remain in focus, in dim light, when it would be impossible to focus the binocular in a normal manner.
Top features of Steiner Nighthunter XP Binoculars Series
1. Say hello to the sights of the night. The Steiner Nighthunter XP Binocular Series allows you to see perfectly at sunrise, sunset, in shadowed areas, or even in next-to-total darkness. Delivering unmatched performance in the lowest of light situations, these Steiner models show you how much you can see under the cover of dark.
2. Each model in the Nighthunter XP series features a water-repelling, NANO-protection lens on the outer objective and ocular lenses, which means water and moisture simply can't ruin your view! This also reduces the occurrence of fogging, which can be a game-finisher on morning or evening outings. This waterproof construction even allows submersion without damage. They are purged and over-pressurized with Nitrogen. Bring on the water!
3. Featuring the brand-exclusive Steiner Sports Auto-Focus system, each model of this series keeps objects in focus at distances from about 20 yards to infinity. Steiner uses a Porro prism, creating greater field depth, while its focus feature allows users to pre-focus at a choice distance (even in twilight). This means that you can count on clear images even when low light situations make it difficult to focus.
4. Steiner's Nighthunter XP Binoculars all feature a combination of precision optical glass and a coating of exclusive HD (high definition) broad band lens coating. Built into a high performance body standard that's designed specifically for high light transmission, the internal stray light reducing baffle system makes these models brighter than their competition.
