I just received the 2 pair of these binoculars that I ordered for my husband and myself and I am VERY PLEASED with my purchase! After several weeks of investigating all the options, I decided to go with the Celestron Outland 8x25 Waterproof binoculars because they offered all of the features I am interested in at a reasonable price.
I never expected such CRISP CLEAR images with no abberations! They are very easy to focus and feel substantial yet lightweight in your hands!
My only complaint is that the strap (like on most other models) is too thin and digs into the back of my neck after a time. I will probably look for a thicker strap or not use the strap at all. The carrying case has a belt loop feature that makes the binoculars very portable on the trail, so the strap may not be an issue.
I'll be looking forward (no pun intended) to getting many years of use out of these little sturdy binoculars!

Everything works well with this pair of binoculars! The image is crisp and clear! The focus wheel is slightly stiff but smooth. It is waterproof and fog proof so I can take it anywhere at any time. This is superb for hunting or a day at the seashore! I have used this pair with and without eyeglasses. It works well both ways! If you need eyeglasses and must have a compact pair of binoculars, this pair is as good as you will get in the compact size! One must fold down the eye cups to use with glasses. The eye cups are quite soft and will not scratch your lenses. It weighs slightly more than most binoculars of this size. I can feel how solidly built this pair is.
In conclusion, I doubt one could buy a better pair of compact roof prism binoculars at any price! I highly recommend these binoculars!

I bought these from Netshops.[@]. I am quite pleased with them! They focus easily and are quite compact. This one rugged little pair of binoculars! They weigh 14 oz., which is basically the same weight as a can of peas at your local supermarket. They are small and elegant enough to take to the opera, yet rugged enough to take to the woods deer hunting in the rain, or snow. The exit pupil is 3MM which I consider to be the minimum one should buy, but this pair is OK. I tried on a hike without eyeglasses in the morning and the same hike again with eyeglasses in the afternoon. It is quite good without eyeglasses! With eyeglasses it is quite acceptable. Let me say it in another way - if you wear eyeglasses and your heart is set on a 'compact' pair of binoculars, this pair this is as good as you are going to get - at any price! I recommend this pair also for 'urban viewing', by this I mean if you go to a city like New York or Wilmington, NC, you can visit the city and take these out to view the tugboats in the harbor! I highly recommend this pair of binoculars!

Bought one pair and ordered two more for my wife and neighbor. Perfect to stash in car so you always have a pair with you. I didn't like the thin neck strap, so I removed it.
