You don,t have to worry about tryin to focus and miss something.I have two sets.One set is a compact set which are great for carrying in his pocket. They are both light weight. I THINK THESE ARE A GREAT PRODUCT. They also work well with glasses.

    I use binoculars for two very different viewing experiences.

    First, I ride horses in the back country and use them to view wildlife and scenery at a distance. These are great for that, love them for that. The auto focus is so cool and works great in this situation.

    Second, I like to birdwatch. I was hoping to use them in that situation. Unfortunately, the birds tend to come in closer than a couple hundred feet and these bi's just can't focus at all in close. If the birds are several hundred feet out, these work great and again the auto focus is just plain cool. If I'm birdwatching, these are not the binoculars that I will take with me.

    Even so, these are well worth the money, they are a good multi-purpose binocular that work well in many situations, just not close in.

        Q1: What is the greatest distance you can see with the Bushnell 8x25 PermaFocus Focus Free Compact?

        A: Like all binoculars, the Bushnell 8x25 PermaFocus Binoculars will allow you to see all the way to the horizon, however far that is in your area.

        Q2: Hi. I just ordered a pair of 8X25 PermaFocus binoculars for my wife. Does it come with a strap and case?

        A: Yes.  The Bushnell 8x25 Permafocus binoculars do come with a neck strap and a leather case.

        Q3: Is the eye relief sufficiient for use with eyeglasses?

        A: If you must wear glasses, you’ll need at least 15mm of eye relief or longer if you want to see the full field of view with your glasses on. The Bushnell 8x25 PermaFocus Focus Free Compact Binoculars are only 10mm.
