I am community college astronomy instructor for over two decades and have owned scores of binoculars. My wife and I were particularly looking for the smallest yet most powerful binoculars at a reasonable cost. When we first received the Bushnell 7-15 X 25 Powerview Zoom binoculars, both my wife and I were just blown away with the clarity at all powers. It is so easy to zoom in. Also, the edge to edge view and stability at high power (15X) is excellent unlike so many other zoom binoculars we have tried that at full power become blurry and unstable. We are just so pleased with these binoculars. We stood out one night with a pair of 10 X 50 Bushnells ($120.), a 7 X 50 Fujinon Military Spec ($450.)and a pair of Barska 12 X 50 ($25.)and the new 7-15 X 25 Bushnell Powerviews ([$]) The Fujinons had the best clarity of course but not the power of the 7-15 X 25. The Barska 12 X 50 are okay but suffer from edge to edge blurriness. The 10 X 50 Bushnells were very good but when we went to the Powerviews, with their lightweight, clarity and ease of zoom, became our favorites and still are. They are a bargain at[$] Thank you Bushnell.

Use for hunting. My concern is the that Quality Control (if there is one) should have identified the problems with the zoom control. While adjusting the zoom I kept hitting my nose; which is due to it's location and tightness. I believe it should have been located on the top or side of eyepiece. Also the zoom control does not move smoothly; instead it feels as if it is moving from one notch to another.

Comments about Bushnell 7-15x25mm Powerview Compact Zoom Binoculars:
Going on Safari where binoculars are essential, but places to carry stuff are at a minimum. I have a large pair of binoculars, but needed a lightweight pair that don't take up too much room. These are perfect.
