Powerful porro!

A real powerhouse, the Bushnell 16x50mm Powerview binocular with InstaFocus is for the viewer who needs to get in close. Close enough to count feathers or antler points.

A proven, porro-prism design gives rugged dependability with contemporary styling. There's rubber armor to protect against shock while affording a firm grip - even for gloved hands.

Optics are first-rate, too. BK-7 glass is used in the prisms, and lens elements are multi-coated for sharpness and brightness throughout the full field of view.

If you like getting up-close views, you'll like Bushnell 16x50 Powerview binoculars with InstaFocus! They'll get you as close as you need to be.

    Quality not as expected.

Focusing wasn't very good. We have a pair of old Bushnells that have a smaller range but are actually better quality.

I use them to watch my daughter's crew races/regattas as well as casual birdwatching. I own other Bushnell binoculars; these are stronger, but all have been good, well-priced purchases.

    Customer Q & A

Q1: I purchased a set of Bushnell Powerview 16x50 Binoculars and I want to know if they have the diopter setting on them, because instructions say how to adjust, and the right side does move. Also someone told me this model 13-1650C has been discontinued. Is this true?

A: Yes the right side is where the Diopter adjustment is, just follow the directions to set the binocular for your eyes. i have not heard anything from Bushnell about these being discontinued.

Q2: Maybe I missed it but I did not see the weight of these binoculars shown anywhere, Can you tell me how much they weigh??? Thanks, Allana

A: I beleive the weights are listed on the lower right in the specifications table but here is what it says there: Product Weight: 1.8125 lbs. Shipping Weight: 3 lbs The difference between product weight and shipping weight is the product weight is the weight of the product alone (not including box and packing material.)

Q3: Hi, I am a little confused about the Bushnell binoculars being tripod adaptable. Can they be connected directly to a standard 1/4 inch screw mount on a tripod (or monopod in my case) or do they require the Bushnell Tripod Adapter (16-1001CM)to do so? Tha

A: The Powerview's tripod mount is in the hinge, so you'll need the tripod adapter.

Q4: I was wondering where is the product register page? I typed in what the register card says to do www.prodregister.com/bushnell and it does mpt take me anywhere, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!. Thanks, Scott

A: The product registration page seems to be working now. Try entering www.bushnell.com, choosing your area and language, then proceeding to the Registration page. You should get a form to fill out.

Q5: Will the Insta Focus on these binoculars limit my ability to focus in a specific object?

A: Yes. Permafocus binoculars have a fixed focus location so you are not able to focus on anything in front of or behind the fixed focus point.
