These little binoculars are exceptionally clear. I like how steady I can hold them at sporting events like track and field. They work well for quickly scanning the woods for animals, or picking out details on birds. The conveinient size is perfect for a jacket pocket, so they're more likely to be available when needed then larger binoculars. They are extremely clear. The clearest I've found in that size objective lens. I wouldn't recommend them for the shooting range; the magnification isn't high enough to see bullet groupings. Unfortunately I had one pair torn off my Kayak when I rolled it in rapids. So I ordered another pair. I think I'll order a pair for my father-in-law. Yes they're good enough to impress the relatives.[@]
