Description

Get close. And closer yet!

There are times when you can't get too close. And then there are times when you're definitely close enough. Nikon's 8-24x25mm, EagleView Zoom binoculars can adapt to either situation.

With 8X to 24X ZOOM technology, EagleViews can keep you at arm's-length viewing distance for situations that require it, and then they can get you three times closer when you want to count the feathers on the bird you're viewing. Either way, the viewing will be great!

EagleView's superb, multi-coated optics offer excellent contrast and vivid color, and BaK-4, high-index prisms provide ultra-bright, clear views to go along with the splendid color-rendering. You'll see birds and other wildlife in the colors they really are - and in all the detail that Nature can give them.

Try EagleView 8-24x25mm ZOOM binoculars.  They'll take you as close as you need to be. And then they'll take you closer yet!

I've used it in Middle east desert, open sea and tropical forest in southeast asia. It was working great and best to 16X but the stability will decrease when you get higher. For open field you'll find great (higher magnification will require a tripod or just lean on something) and on the thick jungle you'll find very good for bird watching.

    Not Nikon Quality

For the price, I thought the product would be superior to a [$] pair I own. They are not.

This was to replace an identical pair that was lost. If I loose this pair I will buy another just like it. Light weight, great optics, use them for everything from elk hunting to bird watching.

Comments about Nikon 8-24x25mm EagleView Zoom Binoculars:

Product works well. The zoom works by adjusting a horizontal lever. The focus works well. Only complaint I have is how wide the field of view is while in maximum zoom. But the specs of the binoculars are clearly stated.

            Customer Q & A

Q1: Please describe the difference between the Travelite zoom from the eagleview zoom cameras. They seem very similar. I am comparing the 8-24X25 models.

A: The difference has to do with the body shape, the Travelite is more streamlined and ergonomic with indentations for your fingers on the chambers. Also the Zoom placement on the Eagleview the Zoom is a dial on the top of the binocular whereas with the Travelite it is a lever that is located by the eyepiece.

Q2: Does the Eagleview have aspherics? Is the image as good as the Travelite?

A: The EagleView's ARE very comparable to the Travelite series as far as optics are concerned. However, the Travelite series contain the aspherical lenses and the Eagle View's do not.

Q3: What is the difference between 8x25 and 10x25 in binoculars?

A: The difference is literally how many times the naked eye you see with. 8 times the naked eye or 10 times the naked etc.

            Q4: Is this model waterproof?

A: Unfortunately, no, the Eagle View Zooms are not waterproof.

Q5: Do these or any of the other zoom lightweight zoom accept a tripod/monopod?

A: Unfortunately this binocular does not have the capability to connect to a tripod. Most compact binoculars are not tripod adaptable.
