Description

SportScope Golf Periscope
This 5X QWM-1 Sportscope is a high quality product manufactured through Mickelson Group, Inc. This metal, hand-held periscope is extendable and provides a clear, magnified view with its five-power lens system. It consists of fine glass prisms, highly polished glass lenses, a focusing eyepiece, height-extension system, detachable plastic handle and a carrycase.
The Sportscope's outer casing is made of a high-quality aluminum alloy, which has been treated with a special process. A new metal belt hook provides quick and easy Sportscope access while leaving your hands free.
With the periscope height easily adjustable, the user can see over and around crowds and obstacles with a much improved view which is similar to 7x35 binoculars. The eyepiece is turned to focus for distance, and the wide diopter range makes it suitable for far and near sighted users. The eyepiece rubber cup may be folded back for use with glasses.

      I plan to mount this in my car. Because I like submarines. Yeah, I know.

      It's perfect for the job other than the lower eyepiece doesn't rotate independently, but that's a minor complaint, I expected to have to do some modding.

          my team used this in afghanistan. we could hide behind large rocks and even in high grass while remaining hiden and observing with a clear field of view.The only con i had was the lack of colors available. i painted it to blend in better and had to use extra caution near the lens'. thank you for providing such a great product at an oh so affordable price.

          This has been my best investment of the year! From watching the Masters to the Grand Prix to whale watching on a crowded ship, finally there is a product that allows me (5'2" me) to watch the action without getting trampled. Easy to use, convenient, just an excellent product that I wish I'd had years ago. I've had so many great comments on my periscope that I should really carry your business cards around with me!

          Q1: I am interested in purchasing a periscope to be used as a learning tool. I know that it can be used to see over high objects such as door but can it be used to see under low objects too? I am seeking a device that can do both. Thanks for taking the time to

          A: answer this question. It can definitely be used for seeing under things as well.

          Q2: I am confused about field of view. It says 8.5 degrees ft. at 1000 yds. Does this mean that when viewing something at only 50 ft. you can only see a few inches wide? Thank you

          A: The SportScope's field of view is 8.5 degrees. That means you'll be able to see an area about 7.5 feet wide at 50 feet. Most optics manufacturers give field of view in feet at 1,000 yards, and our template for listing field was constructed with that in mind. Unfortunately, that does create confusion when only the angle is available, and we apologize.

          Q3: I need to look in crawlspaces and attics. The extended height is not posted. What is the height extension?

          A: The maximum height at the Sportscope's full extension is 2ft and 2inches.
