My macular degeneration took a sharp turn for the worse after a head injury last summer. This resulted in my not being able to see the TV clearly... especially a problem in that I could not read Closed Captions anymore. Well I put these buggers on... and WOW... TV viewing is clear as a bell and I can see the captions perfect. Also, I was having problems seeing the expressions on the faces of friends as we visited in the living room... These glasses take care of that. I am also an avid bird watcher... Being able to look out the window and see the birds and chipmunks clearly in the feeder again--just makes my day !! And I can see the horses and other critters out in the fields. Last fall I couldn't really appreciate Fall Foliage. . . I'll be ready for it this year. Before buying these glasses I did a considerable amount of research to find the best price. These folks at Binoculars.com were as much as $50 cheaper than other sites for the exact same product. [...] Bottom line --- If you have Macular Degeneration, don't hesitate to order these glasses. You will be very happy -- They will improve your vision dramatically and will TAKE A BIG BITE out of your Macular Degeneration.

I have low vision. I was sick and tiered of not being able to read screen in the lecture room , although I seet in the first roll. I was tired enough to asking people to what it is that shown on the crean in order to check my flight status at air port. But the moment I knew about this Max Glass, it was excited to have it and try it on.
Unfortunately, my vision is so bad that I still can't read things on the screan or TV.
But now I can see certian objects at far distance.
I think it will work fine for people who has better vision than I am.

Comments about Eschenbach MaxTV Binocular Glasses - Hands Free Binocular Glasses:

For several reasons, we returned these glasses. First off, you cannot wear your prescription glasses with them, so they can't compensate for that lack. Therefore, I couldn't focus them enough. I have compound astigmatism, so maybe, if I'd had contact lenses, they would have worked better. But, even if they worked, they are cumbersome and too heavy and with the weight at the front, they keep sliding down your nose and won't stay in place. I would have had to hold them onto my face. I don't have a small nose or small face. My wife tried them, didn't work for her either. We were disappointed. The return process is easy though, thank goodness.

Comments about Eschenbach MaxTV Binocular Glasses - Hands Free Binocular Glasses:

I use MaxTV glasses to watch TV. I sit about 6 feet away from a 40 inch flat TV. I am able to read a closed caption on it. I feel so good that I can enjoy the TV very much thanks for that wonderful product. Only negative side I have on it is you have to be very careful to wear them. They are a little bit fragile.
