The laser rangefinder, built into each new and improved Geovid HD, is now capable of accurately measuring distances of up to 1400 yards (1300 metres) and in doing so, takes the guess work out of range assessment.

Leica's legendary optics, have also been improved with the use of Flouride glass for even better definition, brilliance and contrast resulting in a perfect "two in one" tool for the modern stalker. In addition the new AquaDuraTM lens coating repels water and dirt to make them even easier to clean and use in extreme weather conditions.

Leica was the first optical specialist to combine high-performance binoculars and a laser range finder in one especially compact set of binoculars.They enable the user also to switch to scanning mode to allow constant tracking of a moving object with the rangefinder function.

It is filled with nitrogen to eliminate fogging of the lenses.
