I already knew Camera Binoculars weren't that good but I only needed them for a quick pic of birds I couldn't identify. One main issue, the two eye pieces don't close enough so I can see the object as one image. I have to use them like a spotting scope to take a photo. Photos are blurry but good enough for identification. Definitely, not worth the money.

I do a LOT of outdoor wildlife admiring. I've been to many places; Alaska, Europe,even the Galapagos Islands. I've been wanting something like this camera/binocular for a while. Its main purpose for me is to see birds I've never seen, and when I can't recognize them, SNAP, I have a photo to take home for study purposes. I use the photo to study the bird and to educate myself as to its species. This is much easier than trying to remember bird specifications until I can get to a bird book. The photo quality is good, not perfect, but good enuf for identification purposes. The binocular is excellent. The reticle in the center of the lens, used for focusing the camera, takes some getting used to because it is there for binocular use as well.
The best feature is that with SYNCFOCUS, I don't have to look at the LCD to take a photo. I can use the binocular for seeing and for taking photos. In daylite, the LCD is obscure while the binocular is not.
All in all, it serves my purposes.

This was a gift for an adventurous outdoor husband. The idea is great and easy to use but the pictures were terrible quality when you zoom in to get a close picture. the tripod was used to make sure it wasn't just from movement. would not recommend for pictures, but the binoculars work great.
