I use this product for law enforcement surveilance, as well as recreational use. Images are clear and sharp. Its not too bulky or heavy, either. This product does what it is intended to do in an excellent manner. The best pair of binoculars I've owned.

The Auto Focus (Sport Focus) is tremendous, clarity is perfect, the heft and design are right on the money. They are rugged, capable and absolutely live up to the Steiner Reputation. Clearly (pun intended)the finest lenses I have ever owned. High recommendation.

A: The Steiner 10x50 with Reticle is found in their Military/Tactical series.
Q2: 10x50 v. 7x50, is there great difference in magnification between these two?
A: There would be a 3x magnification difference between the two. Depending on the situation, this may provide that extra vision you may need.
