Frequently Asked Questions

1 - 4 of 4

Q1: Can you use these binoculars with glasses or is it necessary for proper viewing to remove your glasses

A: These binoculars have an eye relief of 22mm. Anything over 14-15mm is generally considered as "extended" eye relief for eyeglass wearers. These binoculars will work very well with eyeglasses.

Q2: This model Steiner Navigator Pro C is the same "Steiner Navigator II"?

A: That is correct.

Q3: What is the difference between 7x50 Navigator Pro C, Steiner Marine 11 binoculars, and Steiner 7x50 Navigator 11 Binoculars? Are they different years, or all current models? We are looking for the best boating binoculars.

A: There are a few differences between them but not much. The big difference with the Pro C is it has a built in Compass. the difference between the Marine and the Navigator standard is the finish and the length of the chambers, the navigator being longer.

Q4: what type prism does the 7x50 Navigator Pro C incorporate?

A: Bak-4 prisms are used in the 7x50 navigator pro with Compass.

7x50 Navigator Pro C

Add the "on-demand" compass to the 7 x 50 Navigator, and you've got an ideal lightweight navigation binocular, one that will perform well in all navigational or watch situations. The illuminated "on-demand" compass is seen only when electronically activated. Now, there's a reticle in the field of view, giving you range information if you need it, making it the perfect marine binocular, for navigating when aboard, and exploring or viewing wildlife when ashore.
