These binoculars are ideal for watching both action sports and nature in action. They've been selected as "Editor's Choice 2008" by Practical Sailor Magazine, and have received this positive review from Wired Magazine: "Two stabilization modes for normal and extra-jittery action. Comments about Bushnell 10x35mm StableView Image Stabilized Binoculars:

I've been sailing the waters of the upper Chesapeake Bay for the past 50 years and I have always enjoyed the challenge of navigating with a chart and binoculars. I was recently sailing into Baltimore harbor among many large cargo vessels from distant ports. I was frustrated trying to read the ship's home ports with my conventional binoculars. That week I found the reasonably priced I.S. Bushnell 10X35's on Hatstack. Next sail into Baltimore I was blown away by the rock-solid clear picture in even the worst rolling and pitching. Comments about Bushnell 10x35mm StableView Image Stabilized Binoculars:

I bought a pair of these for [$]. They worked so well I bought a second pair. Now I find them on this web site for just over [$]. They are without a doubt the best Binoculars you will ever buy. The distance and clarity is unbelievable and being stabilized is the icing on the cake. I'm going to buy a third pair soon and it will be from this web site. I broke my own rule, always check prices online before you buy anything.

      Customer Q & A

Q1: Is the weight really 43.9 ounces or is that a typo in the description?

A: The weight listed is correct: 43.9 ounces.

Q2: Where is the IS button on these binoculars? It looks like it is a switch? Does that mean you do not have to hold it in position?

A: You are correct.  You do not have to hold down a button to activate the IS feature, flipping the switch on the side will activate.
