Everything is excellent except for Fujonon's method of setting up the compass. It is impossible without the detailed instructions. We got it right the 4th attempt, using the manual. Calibrate should be a 1 touch botton affair - it is far from being idiot proof. Having said that, calibrate remained true 3 years later and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
