Vortex Diamondback 8x42 Binocular
Superior quality, high-performance hunting optics can find their way around your neck for a surprisingly affordable price. The smooth focusing 8x42 Diamondback binocular takes you to the fine details you prize. Taking its lead from the Diamondback rattlesnake, this rugged binocular is striking in how well it detects life in low light. Huge field-of-view—the largest in its class—enhanced fully multi-coated optics, phase-corrected prisms, waterproof/fogproof construction, soft tapered eycups, rugged rubber armor. It's all there. Now you can use "wow!" and "thank you" in the same sentence.
A rock-solid performer
Whether your adventure takes you across rocky, sand-carved terrain, or into the high timber of the Rockies, you can trust the rock-solid performance of the Diamondback binocular. The Diamondback's protective rubber coating gives you a sure grip that is easy to handle, even as fingers grow numb in the cold. In addition, the retractable Diamondback eyecups feature a soft, tapered style for a more natural fit at your eye—cushioned with rubber for years of relaxed viewing.

Comments about Vortex 8x42mm Diamondback Binoculars:
I recently purchased the 8/42 Diamondbacks by Vortex. These binoculars have spectacular definition, true colors and outstanding field of view. The amount of light they collect on overcast days is remarkable. These Diamondbacks are of excellent quality. Includes a nice case, lens cleaner, shoulder strap for the binoculars and strap for the case. I wear eyeglasses and have no problem using these. I purchased the Vortex Viper binoculars for my daughter for Christmas which is an excellent binoculars but cost over 2 times the cost of the Diamondbacks. I'll be using my Diamondbacks for viewing in our garden pond and bird watching. I'll be using them up in northern Minnesota spotting moose and bear. You can't beat the lifetime guarantee either.

Comments about Vortex 8x42mm Diamondback Binoculars:
I needed a pair of binoculars I could use both on the water and also for bird watching. Knowing absolutely nothing about binoculars, I asked the optics expert. He was terrific. He suggested these Vortex binocs and they exceeded my expectations. I really appreciate the great customer service and the high quality product.

Comments about Vortex 8x42mm Diamondback Binoculars:
All images are clear and crisp, I would have like to have the opportunity of physically comparing the Diamondback to the Viper HD. I'm still toying with the idea of ordering the Vipers, comparing the two and returning the one I chose not to keep. It's hard to believe that the Vipers are 3X better than the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks are as good if not better than an older pair of Nikons I had that cost more than twice the price.
