Description

The Steiner 8x30 Predator Pro Binoculars are the latest addition to Steiner's popular Predator Pro Line. These binoculars incorporate Steiner's latest "C5" optics developed by their engineers in Germany. This new C5 technology is designed to deliver brighter images with high contrast. This performance makes them highly effective in a difficult hunting environment where game animals are in heavily wooded areas.

These new Predator Pro binoculars feature Steiner's unique "Sports Auto-Focus" system, which allows you to make one-time focus adjustments to the eyepieces. A high-depth field of view allows you to view objects in sharp focus from near distance to infinity. These binoculars also come with contoured, wrap-around eyecups which block side light and improve your viewing experience.

New NBR Long-Life Armoring and updated trim for protection will extend the life of these binoculars even when used in the most demanding conditions.

These Predator Pro Binoculars include a padded nylon case with strap, attached objective lens caps, rain guard, and neck strap.

Predator Optics

The revolutionary Steiner Predator lens coating increases contrast in wooded and camouflaged backgrounds, and it makes animals much easier to detect with the human eye. Simply put, the green coating blocks out green and blue (the colors of foliage and haze) and boosts browns and reds. The added contrast is impressive.

Comments about Steiner 8x30 Predator Professional Binoculars:

I do alot of big game hunting and I have several pairs of binoculars. I wanted a binocular that I could use and not be bothered with the aggravation of having a heavy, clumbsy hunk of metal and glass hanging around my neck and bumping into and tangling with everything in the stand. I wanted clear optics that are easy to focus that provide sharp clear images. These are absolutly my favorite all-time optics. And I don't have to have purchase an insurance policy to recover a major financial loss if i lose them. Get you some!

Comments about Steiner 8x30 Predator Professional Binoculars:

This was my first foray into better quality binos, and I was shocked at how much better things looked through them than a well known $100 pair of Japanese optics that I owned at the time. The contrast and the way things stood out just blew me away. They work best in the environment they were intended for--the woods. The trees seem to jump out at you, as do whitetail deer! After owning this fine pair for over 10 years, I finally broke down and bought a high grade pair by Minox, as well as Brunton. I had the big showdown and found the newer binos to be substantially better out in the open, or over long distances, and in low light conditions. Keep in mind they were 2 and 4 times as expensive though, with larger and more powerfull lenses. Use these Steiners in the woods and you will never be disappointed!

Comments about Steiner 8x30 Predator Professional Binoculars:

I was able to spot movement in high grass and identified groundhogs with these binoculars. The problem I had was my scope isn't designed to accentuate browns and reds like the binoculars so I wasn't always able to find them through the scope. I'd go back to the binoculars and find it then back to the scope and nothing.
I wish Steiner would build a scope with these lenses.
