The RXB-IV is the first binocular/digital laser rangefinder that delivers more than the straight-line distance to the target. Leupold's exclusive True Ballistic Range technology gives you a much more ballistically accurate measurement, for greater precision in long-range shooting. It provides accurate aiming information matched to the performance of your rifle or bow.

No other optical tool gives you the combination of performance and features you will find in the RXB-IV. The 9x magnification gives you plenty of power with a wide field of view to track movement. One of the most useful customizable features of your RXB-IV rangefinder is the Match 13 reticle system. You will always have fast access to each of the 13 reticles, so you always have the right reticle for any situation. Each reticle is available with the Leupold Plus Point, for an added level of accuracy in pinpointing your target.

The RXB-IV includes two Alumina BXL optimizers to improve contrast in difficult light, and the objective lenses are threaded to accept other Alumina accessories. The unit's thermometer measures temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and measurements can be presented in yards or meters.

From humble immigrant beginnings, Leupold grew, based on a promise of quality, to become a classic American company. In 1907, Fred Leupold set up a one-man shop at 5th and Oak streets in Portland, Ore., to repair surveying equipment. He was joined by his brother-in-law, Adam Voelpel, and later by inventor John Cyprian Stevens, and the foundations for a century of success were in place.

During Leupold's second half-century, the company has focused heavily on the sports optics business. Leupold's presence in the hunting and shooting market expands, and finally dominates, with innovative optics and features that are now legendary among hunters, shooters, and outdoors enthusiasts. Many of the industry's standards - nitrogen waterproofing, the Duplex reticle, and more - are Leupold creations.

Multiple ballistics settings…True Ballistic Range (TBR®) provides accurate aiming information matched to the performance of your rifle or bow. By calculating the incline, line of sight range to the target, and a projectile’s ballistics, your RX provides rifle hunters using Leupold Ballistics Aiming System reticles as well as bow hunters the correct equivalent horizontal distance for precise shooting on an incline. In other words, aim using the True Ballistic Range, not the line of sight range. Rifle hunters can also get this data as an MOA adjustment or a holdover point. With practice, long distance/steep angle shooting will become second nature. Dial in your RXB-IV to one of seven TBR ballistics settings for the rifle and three for the bow for incredible accuracy. TBR is effective to 800 yards for most rifle cartridges.
