    I tried these in a large outdoor store along with others up to 1k and these were what stood out to me.I wear glasses and i can see the whole field of view very easily....Read complete review

That would not matter much if the image was not good. Not to worry! These are just marvelous! Bright and super clear, and the open design makes it really easy to hold still. Stupidly i thought if i spent more on a second pair they would be even better. I was WRONG. I bought a famous name German model for twice the money,and when i checked them out i was let down big time. They were not bad but they were not as sharp and not as easy to see through and handling was not as good. I really think these are some of the best you can get,of course nobody can check everything out there but i stand by what i have said. A++++++

    read all the reviews before buying these to replace my Nikon Monarchs. The rave reviews had me expecting great things. I was sorely disappointed. They are no better than what I already had...just more expensive. I returned them and bought a pair of Pentax DCF SP 10x43's. Again, based on rave reviews. These were indeed better, but not by much. Enough, however, that I kept them even though they cost much more. The best thing to do is to visit a store that has a wide variety to choose from and judge for yourself. Only be sure to take them outside!

              I tried these against binoculars that cost twice as much and they were better in some ways. Super sharp and bright,i really love these things. I can see the entire circle with my glasses on no problem,just lift them and BAM perfect! The only negative is the cheap worthless lens covers and floppy bag it comes with. I replaced the case and you don't really need the caps anyway,just keep it in the case and get a lens brush and dust them after use. I really don't think you can do better unless you spend really big bucks, like 2k. They are just that good.

                Q1: I'm looking for 8x binoculars for birding. Why aren't the Mojaves listed as birding binoculars?

                A: Although they are not listed as "birding binoculars" they most certainly can be used for birding.  They have very similar stats to many birding binoculars out there, and a great close focus distance.
