Description

The Nikon 8x25 ProStaff ATB Binoculars were designed with hunters in mind. Even the most serious binocular users know that there are times when nothing proves more useful on a hunt than a good compact. That is precisely why the new ProStaff ATB was created. Built not only for ruggedness, but also with optical performance and true take-it-anywhere portability in mind, these binoculars are designed to last. They have been constructed on a durable, rubber-armored, polycarbonate body that has been purged of all moisture with bone-dry nitrogen for total waterproof and fog-proof performance.

One look through these compact binoculars and Nikon's uncompromising optical standard becomes quite evident. Aspherical eyepiece lenses provide a crisp, distortion-free field of view and long eye relief. Crafted from Nikon's exclusive Eco-Glass, these lenses and prism offer high performance together with a considerable reduction in weight over typical optical glass. The result is bright, razor-sharp viewing even at dawn, dusk, or in poor weather, when light conditions tend to be less than ideal.

Since it was founded in 1917, Nikon has been a leader in optics and imaging. The company has maintained an unwavering commitment to trustworthiness and creativity, as well as meeting the needs - and exceeding the expectations - of its customers. The 8x25 ProStaff ATB Binoculars are no exception.

Comments about Nikon 8x25mm ProStaff ATB Binoculars:

I was looking to get the 10x25 ProStaff to take it with me to my trip but [...] I chose the 8x25 and I was a little skeptical if I can have good vision with this zoom range but to my surprise it's zoom and focus quality was really awesome and I don't think I ever need the 10x25 for my casual use, totally recommend it to everyone who wants a light weight and high quality of craftsmanship product!

So far the binoculars have been great.[...]As such I am not sure I am really qualified to judge binoculars I haven't been able to test in the light of day yet.

Comments about Nikon 8x25mm ProStaff ATB Binoculars:

To date, the construction is whimpy. I hadn't even used them when I had to return it for prism repair--they were a gift.
After repairs, I took them out for the first day of elk hunt and the right adjustable eyecup popped off when placing cover over eye piece, and it was lost in the snow. Without the eyecups, it is difficult to hold them steady because I need to hold it away from my eyes to focus. Have not been able to find replacement eyecups to date. If I ever get to use them whole, I may have a more positive review.

          Nikon 8x25 ProStaff ATB

Comments about Nikon 8x25mm ProStaff ATB Binoculars:

Coming from the point of view of a Swarovski user, they are very nice binoculars in lens quality, size, weight and price - although i discovered they are also available in uk, rebadged as travelite V. My only complaint is a bloom across the picture that they acquire if there is any reflection or interference. For the price, they make a perfect back-up pair of bins or one that fits easily in one's handbag!
