Comments about Nikon 10x56mm Monarch ATB Binoculars:

I bought these to take on a safari in Africa. They have superb lenses, the 56mn bring in plenty of brightness at dawn and dusk. Glad to have purchased the 10x vs the 8.5 for added magnification and very little vibration. The field of view is tremendous with these 56mn lenses. Great price/quality.

Comments about Nikon 10x56mm Monarch ATB Binoculars:

I purschased the Monarch 10X56's as something more portable than the Fujinon 14x70's that I've had for nearly 20 years. The Nikon's are well made, feel wonderful in the hands, and bright with very sharp optics, especially during the day. At night the central zone is equally bright and crisp and color-free, however, the outer third of a very generous field of view is not nearly equal to the much more expensive Fujinon optics. The Monarch's will fit in the glove box, but I'll be reaching for the 14X70's in the back seat.

                Customer Q & A

                Q1: WHAT IS THE WEIGHT

A: Weight of Nikon's 10x56 Monarch ATB binoculars weigh approximately 40 ounces.

Q2: I have been interested in the dream season 10x56 binocs. cannot find any testing results on them. need optical clarity when the sun goes down and before comes up. and how good are they at these times to pick out the points on a deer? Thank you

A: You'll get very good low-light from the Nikon Monarch 10x56 Dream Season. Nikon is known for excellent optics, and both 8x42 and 10x50 Monarchs placed in the top 10 among mid-price birding binoculars in the Cornell University Ornithology Lab's 2005 binocular judging. The 10x56es will see in the dark. Another binocular to consider, too, for low-light performance is the Steiner 12x56 Nighthunter. For hunting in twilight there is no better glass made.
