        I have just received these two weeks ago and since the snow here in Idaho is kneed deep or more, I haven't ventured out much. I live on the Snake River and have a 500 yard view to the other bank. My only trials were to focus on the willows across the river to make sure I could focus both lenses and then to look at the geese in the river. All fit my hopes and expectations. Four stars instead of five is sueonly to short period of ownership.

        One other review I read said something about loose lenses not keeping in focus. I do not see any evidence of that problem at this time.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Nice binoculars for the money the lenses just move in and out to much and don't stay locked in when all the way out.
        But good in low light conditions,example:early morning/late evening.
