Description

The compact design and 13.5-ounce weight of the Barska 10x25 WP Atlantic Green Compact Binoculars make them ideal to take anywhere. The muted green and black exterior is perfect for hunters, but also appealing to any outdoor enthusiast. The O-rings are completely sealed for protection from water and the entire piece is dry-nitrogen-purged and sealed to prevent fogging and moisture damage in all weather conditions. A large knurled center-focus knob is great for precise focusing. These binoculars have a large field of view of 303 feet at 1,000 yards and a close focus of 26 feet.


The distinctively designed Atlantic series is versatile enough to appeal to outdoor nature enthusiasts, yet meet the demands of serious hunters as well. These roof-prism binoculars feature solid construction and rubber armor covering that provides a secure non-slip grip.         I bought this along with the 8X32 Atlantic Series binocular. It is a good thing these are sturdy and solidly built, because there was no packing in the outer box. They leave lots of room for it to bounce around and judging by the crushed edges, it did a fair share of bouncing around.
        It barely fits in the binocular case. I will have to stretch it by stuffing it full and leaving it in the summer sun for a full day. I have done this before and it worked with other cases. The velcro tab on the case is only half-sewn on. It is coming off.
        The rear lens is quite large compared to other less expensive 10X25 binoculars I own. But the exit pupil is only 2.5MM. Had I known this I would not have bought it. I believe the minimum should be 3MM. Anything less may cause eye strain. If you wear eyeglasses, this binocular is not for you.
        The focusing wheel has a lot of play in it. This is annoying.
        On the positive side. It is solidly built and waterproof. The image is sharp and clear, once you have it focused.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
