    The binoculars are fine: light with good optics and center focus. The difficulty is with the strap and rain guards. The first time my wife used them one of the rear rain guard loops tore. She tried to tape the loops but could get the stap to release. I finally got one side released, with great difficulty, but the plastic insert in the other side split. I also have a pair of Steiner binoculars, Military Marine, and the straps and rain guards work fine

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        I did not use them until recently. I have discovered that they do not focus correctly. I can't get one circle and if I look through them for any length of time I end up with double vision for a few seconds when I put them down. Very disappointing considering they are costly. Hopefully I can get them replaced.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        Q1: Is this price in US$ , can we order from Australia. How long would it take to ship here, to Australia. Is this model ideal for watching horse racing if not which model is.

        A: All of our prices are listed in US Dollars. The time frame for shipping will depend on the shipping option that you choose. on our site it will list the timeframes for the options if you add the product to your cart, select country and enter the postal code of where it is shipping. For Horse Racing i would suggest slightly less magnification as it would give you a better field of view. Something more along the lines of the 8.5x26 wildlife.
